Subsee is a technology company based at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia, operating in the maritime sector. We provide underwater ROV inspection services without the involvement of divers, covering ship hulls, port infrastructure and offshore assets. Together with Smart Nautilus, we are developing an electronic biofouling management platform compliant with IMO requirements, already operating within an international fleet. Additionally, we provide ROV operator training, sell ROV and AUV vehicles, and offer consulting services related to the automation and autonomy of maritime operations.
Dudkowiak & Putyra Business Lawyers supports companies operating at the intersection of technology, the maritime and defence sectors, providing advice on regulations, contracts and international trade. During the event, the firm’s experts will deliver a presentation on dual-use technologies and will be available in the Partners Zone, sharing practical knowledge on legal challenges related to innovative solutions.
Gdańsk University of Technology is one of Poland’s leading technical universities, combining research with practical applications of advanced technologies. The Deep-Sea Technologies Laboratory develops solutions for the maritime, defence and civilian sectors, specializing in unmanned underwater vehicles and sonar systems. Its technologies address real-world challenges in security and critical infrastructure protection.

The SimLE Student Research Group brings together students from Gdańsk University of Technology who share a passion for creating and executing ambitious projects. Interdisciplinary collaboration enables us to gain practical experience and develop solutions that go beyond the standard curriculum

1. Subsee will present:
ROV Nautilus-Scout – a remotely operated underwater vehicle adapted for inspections at depths of up to 300 m, used for wreck inspections, sampling and data collection.
ROV Fifish E-Go – a compact ROV equipped with a manipulator capable of a grip force of approx. 10 kg and an AR Ruler function, enabling underwater measurements with 1 cm accuracy. It is used for rapid hull inspections and biofouling data collection.
2. Gdańsk University of Technology
OPM Głuptak – a mine countermeasure system developed at Gdańsk University of Technology. The remotely operated vehicle enables the identification and neutralization of mines at depths of 5–200 m and has been deployed on Polish Navy vessels.
ROV Pirania – an unmanned underwater vehicle developed by Gdańsk University of Technology and RADMOR S.A. It is designed for underwater inspection, monitoring and reconnaissance, including the protection of critical infrastructure and ports.
3. SimLE Student Research Club
SimBa Rocket Program – a student research rocket project operating since 2017. The R6 Chrząszcz placed 3rd at the 2023 Spaceport America Cup, while the R7 Orzeł placed 4th worldwide and 2nd among Polish teams at FAR-OUT 2026; SimBa also represents Poland at EuRoC.
Singo – an autonomous drone project designed to navigate without human support or GPS. It uses AI, machine learning and real-time image processing, with the goal of competing in autonomous flight competitions such as Droniada.

A comparison of the costs of manufacturing electronic devices in China and Europe. An analysis of material and labour costs, the use of Chinese components and materials, and the answer to the question: does a product designed and manufactured in Europe have to be more expensive than a Chinese one?
