Dieter Weiss on stage

Main Conference Rooom 11.00

Dieter Weiss is the owner and head of the most recognizable analytical company in the European EMS industry. in4ma does what our editorial office does at tek.info.pl - collects data about the industry from the bottom up, company by company - but on a pan-European scale, also expanding the area of interest to countries such as Tunisia, Israel and Turkey. Why is it so important to collect data from the bottom up? The answer is simple: aggregated statistical data based on PKD are simply extremely inaccurate and useless for analytical purposes. Data collected from the bottom up also includes important events in individual companies, opinions and moods, which statistics obviously cannot reflect.

Dieter Weiss is also a well-known figure, one of the key partners of IPC. It is largely thanks to his efforts that the IPC Day meeting will be held for the first time here, in Gdańsk. Dieter is happy to share his knowledge, also in the form of lectures, and each presentation is sprinkled with a solid dose of humor :)

Polish Electronics Forum

Sala duża, 13.00-14.30

Jacek Małecki and his lectures from the Polish Electronics Forum series have a long tradition and tremendous reputation, and from the very beginning of TEK.day they have been held on the eve of our fair. However this year - due to the organization of IPC Day EMS Europe - two lectures from this series have been included in the main lecture sequence. This is good for everyone - finally we will be able to accommodate everyone, due to the fact that Forum presentations will be held in the 300-person capable main hall.

Jacek Małecki is a world champion in connecting the dots. From seemingly only loosely related facts, he can draw interesting and extremely accurate conclusions. On September 26, 2024, he will tell you about two things: why Poland is the best place to invest in the electronics industry and effects of implementing programs supporting the semiconductor industry in the EU and the USA. These lectures will definitely give you food for thought.
